Why I volunteer

As part of NCVO’s volunteers’ week one of our young volunteers, Courtney, was asked to write a bit about why she volunteers. She wrote this amazing piece:

I volunteer for Fair Shares. I love it because I love working and being creative. Doing volunteering lets me do this.

Fair Shares has helped me develop skills I never realised I had and help me become the person I am today.

I never would have known this if I never started to volunteer.
