Celebrating Christmas at Fair Shares

Last week both our Gloucester and Stroud Christmas parties went off without a hitch, in two very different settings!

First up was our Gloucester party on Wednesday in the main hall of The Friendship Cafe. We had a great turnout with participants from all across our timebank coming along to have a good time. We had our usual buffet spread with all the classics – sandwiches, quiches, samosas, a cheese selection, mince pies, other cakes and more. To top it off we had our raffle which had some surprising results!

On Friday our Stroud timebank had a get together at The Old Nelson, opposite Stratford Park where we hold our regular gentle walks. The staff were wonderful, very patient and kind when dealing with our large group. Everyone, from both Stroud and Stonehouse, enjoyed getting together to celebrate the year over drinks and food.
