Another Great Session With Betaris

We had the group of young people from Betaris again helping out at our allotment at St James City Farm. It was a really productive morning – most of the time was spent digging the foundations of our new wheelchair friendly raised bed – a job that has been in the planning for ages, we’ve just been waiting for the muscle to get it started. So that’s been a huge help to us. The group also were involved in some seeding and planting, and most exciting of all, getting a fire going to get rid of our waste wood.

We had a brilliant little moment when one of the lads mentioned how he used to visit the farm almost every day when he was little, and how good it felt to now give something back!
