#NoMowMay is an annual campaign asking people to not mow during may and provide a space for nature instead. As part of this we’re letting areas in and around our allotment grow wild. This will help insects and pollinators and even help tackle pollution. Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust gave us a butterfly sign to advertise the space as well as some information posters to explain what it’s all about to anyone passing by.
We’ll be continuing this throughout the summer months for #LetItBloom June and ‘Knee-high’ July so fingers crossed we see lots of bees, hoverflies, butterlies and beetles!
