‘Eco Warriors’ Visit our Allotment!

St James Church of England Primary School’s ‘Eco Warriors’ paid us a visit.

Back in January the ‘Eco Warriors’ from St James primary school came to the allotment with their teacher Mr Matthews. They designed and painted some beautiful wooden plaques to go on the sides of the planters on Barton Street.

They worked very hard in the chilly weather and did some amazing designs. The plaques are now in place and the wildflowers are in bloom – keep an eye out next time you’re walking down Barton Street.

We loved having them at the allotment and hope to be working with them again. Thanks Eco Warriors!
