We had an amazing first few sessions with Kelly and students from Gloucestershire College. They have been helping us with a couple of large outdoor projects: At the City Farm we’re building a shelter for the allotment group and at the Dean Heritage Centre we’re helping to create the first of it’s kind outdoor forest theatre. Both of these were started ages ago, but have needed more helpers to speed things along. So already we’ve seen just what a difference it’s made, having the students giving their time. They did an amazing job, really getting stuck in, especially the young lady who we had to nickname “The Machine” after she hauled more wheelbarrows up the hill than the rest of us put together!
Students from Gloucestershire College will be with us for all of May, so we’re looking forward to a great month.
